The Marine Protected Area

San Teodoro is a lively coastal town and part of the Tavolara – Punta Coda Cavallo Marine Protected Area. Environmental protection and attention to the conservation of the sea and coastline make this area even more beautiful and precious: crystal clear sea, Posidonia oceanica meadows, multicoloured sponges and fish and marine species that are repopulating the coastline.

A lively seaside village

In the evening, San Teodoro comes alive throughout the summer with its characteristic evening market, featuring lively and colourful stalls, bars with live music, discos, restaurants, pizzerias and numerous shops.

Sport and active holidays

San Teodoro is an ideal place for active holidays, thanks to the presence of numerous sports facilities, tennis courts, cycle paths and flat trails for those who enjoy walking or running in the open air.

Horse riding is available for both experienced riders and beginners, and you can enjoy wonderful rides along La Cinta beach at sunrise or sunset.

For the more adventurous, there is parachuting, as well as countless water sports, including kitesurfing, windsurfing, scuba diving, snorkelling and canoeing.

Excursions

There are also wonderful excursions by mountain bike, quad bike, sailing boat or dinghy, all experiences aimed at discovering the paradisiacal spots of our enchanting island. There are also numerous tennis courts, and for those who love running, San Teodoro is the ideal place.

We stayed at Barbara’s villa with a group of six friends (three couples), and it was truly one of the best travel experiences we have ever had, not only because of the beautiful villa, but above all thanks to Barbara herself. Right from the start, Barbara was incredibly kind, welcoming and thoughtful. She was always available, responded quickly to any questions and went out of her way to make our stay perfect. She shared fantastic local tips: wonderful restaurants where we had unforgettable meals, breathtaking beaches and hidden gems along the northern coast of Sardinia.

As my children said, this was our most special stay with Airbnb. We enjoyed the incredible, peaceful garden (with a herb garden and a shower overlooking the beach) and the many places to sit and read, talk or simply enjoy the flowers. Barbara is a wonderful and very ‘welcoming’ host: we were greeted with muffins and throughout our stay we enjoyed grapes and myrtle grown by her. She took care of us and made us feel at home, even providing us with tips on beaches, trips and restaurants. The accommodation is very close to beautiful beaches and many restaurants, but fortunately not too close to the town centre, so you can enjoy peace and quiet. We will definitely be back!!!
