We stayed at Barbara’s villa with a group of six friends (three couples), and it was truly one of the best travel experiences we have ever had, not only because of the beautiful villa, but above all thanks to Barbara herself. Right from the start, Barbara was incredibly kind, welcoming and thoughtful. She was always available, responded quickly to any questions and went out of her way to make our stay perfect. She shared fantastic local tips: wonderful restaurants where we had unforgettable meals, breathtaking beaches and hidden gems along the northern coast of Sardinia. She provided us with everything we needed, even a steam iron when we asked for an iron. Her warmth and attention made us feel completely at home. The villa itself was immaculate and comfortable. Each couple had their own private room with a large, soft bed and a clean, fragrant bathroom with a shower. We could sleep with the windows open; even without air conditioning, the nights were cool.

As my children said, this was our most special stay with Airbnb. We enjoyed the incredible, peaceful garden (with a herb garden and a shower overlooking the beach) and the many places to sit and read, talk or simply enjoy the flowers. Barbara is a wonderful and very ‘welcoming’ host: we were greeted with muffins and throughout our stay we enjoyed grapes and myrtle grown by her. She took care of us and made us feel at home, even providing us with tips on beaches, trips and restaurants. The accommodation is very close to beautiful beaches and many restaurants, but fortunately not too close to the town centre, so you can enjoy peace and quiet. We will definitely be back!!!

An oasis of peace in the immediate vicinity of San Teodoro, this well-equipped accommodation is located in a green setting beautifully decorated by Barbara. The outdoor shower among the fig trees, overlooking the bay, is pure bliss. Small vegetable garden with herbs, salads, onions and delicious lemons. Barbara is an attentive, thoughtful and discreet hostess who gives excellent advice. She helped us with all our bookings and is a real ray of sunshine, full of kindness and humour.

What an extraordinary house!
“Dove ti porta il cuore” is located on a hillside in an area with well-kept villas and can be reached in 30 minutes from Olbia Airport. Here, you won’t hear a thing of the city’s lively nightlife. In the evening, all you can hear is the chirping of crickets and the wind rustling through the trees. The phenomenal “La Cinta” beach is a 5-minute drive away. Everything you need in terms of infrastructure is in the immediate vicinity. As always in Sardinia, a hire car is a must.
At Barbara’s, you can rent up to three double rooms (each with a private bathroom), connected by a large terrace and another outdoor area equipped with chairs. The small kitchen is fully equipped, so cooking is no problem at all. A barbecue and outdoor shower are available. The huge garden is very well maintained, shaded and offers breathtaking views of the sea. The photos on the internet don’t lie! Although the owners live in the same house, privacy is guaranteed. The cleanliness is impeccable! A washing machine is also available. Everywhere you look, there are small decorative details lovingly crafted by Barbara. We were welcomed with great warmth and offered cake, fruit from their garden and two bottles of local beer. Everything was delicious.
We had problems picking up our hire car and had to return to the airport. Barbara’s husband, Marco, spontaneously helped us, saving us the tiring return journey by bus. A really kind gesture! You immediately notice the discreet and authentic hospitality. Her son Matteo offers boat trips to the Tavolara nature reserve, which are well worth doing. The house also has a few pets that occasionally keep guests company. We really liked them and immediately took them to our hearts.
Despite the astronomical rents for flats/hotels on the island, especially in July and August, the value for money is definitely fair! All in all, we are completely thrilled with this extremely comfortable and stylish accommodation. You can’t go wrong here!

Barbara is an exceptional host: incredibly friendly, kind and very helpful. Whether it’s advice about the area or reservations at excellent restaurants, Barbara is an incredibly dedicated host and always helps where she can! She spoiled us with homemade biscuits, muffins and, as a special treat, a small birthday cake. You can really tell how much effort she puts in. The rooms were all very clean, spacious and tastefully decorated. Overall, a great place to stay – we had a really good time. Thank you so much, dear Barbara!

Barbara’s house, and especially the garden, are a real gem. Close to San Teodoro, a charming town with many good restaurants and bars, beautiful beaches and fantastic views. Barbara was an exceptional host, extremely helpful and friendly, warm and kind. Rarely have I had such a “feel at home” feeling abroad.

The villa is surrounded by greenery and right from the start you feel as if you have finally arrived home after your journey there. Barbara’s welcome is cheerful but at the same time discreet, and you immediately feel at ease. From the porch of the house, the view of the sea is very pleasant and certainly a privilege: having breakfast in the morning, cooking in the evening and then sitting at the table to enjoy the spectacle of the sunset while dining is an absolute pleasure. The magic of the porch thwarts any good intentions of going to the beach early in the morning and keeps you engaged in long conversations after dinner, over a good coffee or a glass of wine. Everything is as described on the website, no surprises! The rooms and bathrooms are cosy and cleanliness is guaranteed, nothing is left to chance. The kitchen, although small, is functional and equipped with everything you need to prepare excellent meals (for those of us who love to cook on holiday). We thank Barbara for her hospitality and generosity (we enjoyed the pecorino cheese she gave us, the freshly picked eggs from her husband, the prickly pears and the produce from the vegetable garden she made available to us). Barbara gave us a warm welcome and we had a wonderful stay at her home. The garden and accommodation were wonderful. Very large. Very quiet and with a beautiful view of the mountains and the sea. We would go back in a heartbeat. If only because we felt at home. It was totally relaxing and simply beautiful!!!
